- Dig a hole about twice the size of the root ball.
- Combine existing soil with a pot full of planting mix.
- Loosening the root ball and place the plant and soil mixture in the hole. The top of the root ball should be about 1-2″ above ground level.
- Tamp down the soil, making sure there are no air pockets.
- Water the plant and mulch the surface with our pinestraw or hardwood mulch.
